Position Overview
The IT Manager will lead the company’s technology operations and infrastructure while providing hands-on support for daily IT needs. This role will oversee helpdesk operations, maintain hardware and software systems, manage technology vendors, and ensure employees have the tools and support they need to operate efficiently.
As the organization grows, the IT Manager will help build and lead an internal IT team while developing scalable systems and processes that support both office and field operations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure including networks, servers, workstations, mobile devices, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Oversee helpdesk operations and provide hands-on technical support when necessary.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain computers, mobile devices, user accounts, and system access for new and existing employees.
  • Maintain and track all technology assets including hardware inventory, software licenses, and equipment lifecycle management.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with technology vendors, software providers, and managed service partners.
  • Audit the company’s technology stack to identify redundancies and optimize system capabilities.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI solutions, that may improve efficiency and business operations.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity protocols and best practices to protect company systems and data.
  • Ensure reliable connectivity and technology support for both office and field personnel.
  • Develop documentation and standard operating procedures for IT systems and support processes.
  • Assist with technology integration between operational systems, accounting platforms, and project management software.
  • Build and manage an internal IT support team as the company grows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall project and company success.

Travel Requirements
This position requires occasional regional travel to project sites within Florida.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology roles
  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and helpdesk operations
  • Strong experience configuring computers, user accounts, and network access
  • Experience managing hardware and software asset inventories
  • Experience working with technology vendors and managing service agreements
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Experience supporting cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar environments
  • Experience developing cybersecurity practices and IT policies
  • Leadership experience or the ability to build and manage an IT team
