Position Summary:
The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs across all job sites and facilities. This role is pivotal in upholding our unwavering commitment to safety and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations

Location: Sarasota, FL
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enforce safety policies in alignment with OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular job site inspections and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide comprehensive safety training and orientations for all employees.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field staff to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies regarding safety matters.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in safety management within the construction or plumbing industry.
  • OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 510/500 preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel to various job sites across Florida.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSP or CHST are advantageous.
