Location: Sarasota, FL
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce safety policies in alignment with OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular job site inspections and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide comprehensive safety training and orientations for all employees.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and field staff to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies regarding safety matters.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in safety management within the construction or plumbing industry.
- OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 510/500 preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel to various job sites across Florida.
- Relevant certifications such as CSP or CHST are advantageous.
